Escritora y artista plástica con un legado artístico familiar, ya que sus padres también fueron artistas plásticos. Desde una edad temprana, ha participado activamente en exposiciones y ferias de arte en México, así como en eventos y antologías internacionales celebradas en Venecia, Roma, Londres, la India, Palermo, Budapest, Madrid, Barcelona, San Remo y Malta. En 2022 se hizo acreedora a 3 importantes reconocimientos internacionales al mérito artístico: el Da Vinci International Prize con sede en Florencia, el Caravaggio International Prize con sede en Milán y el International Prize Barcelona que tuvo como marco la 4ta Bienal Internacional de Arte en dicha ciudad española. Ganadora en 2023 del International Prize Pegasus, en Venecia, con su obra Victoria's Dreams, la cual la colocó en la columna "The Top Artists" de la antología "Contemporary Celebrity Masters vol. III", en la cual se rinde tributo a algunos de los mejores artistas internacionales.
Este 2024 ha sido invitada a participar en una de las más importantes antologías de arte en Europa: “The Best Contemporary Masters 2024” curada por los italianos Salvatore y Fracesco Saverio Russo.
Cecilia también es fundadora del estudio de arte y grabado giclée "ARTE EN TU PARED" en donde desarrolla diseños exclusivos para la decoración de hoteles, hogares y empresas.
Como cofundadora y CEO de RED GLOBAL CREATIVA, lidera una empresa dedicada a promover el talento de artistas y escritores a nivel internacional a través de tres plataformas distintas: la revista “ESCAPARATE ARTS MAGAZINE”, el área de eventos presenciales “EXPO INTERNACIONAL DE ARTE CREATIVO”, y la galería-librería virtual conocida como “GLAMOUR ART AND BOOKS”.
Cecilia Álvarez es licenciada en Contaduría Pública y cuenta con un máster en Educación. Durante más de 12 años, desempeñó roles como docente universitaria y colaboradora del Instituto de Investigación de Tecnología Educativa de la Universidad Tecnológica de México. Además, fue fundadora del taller de arte "KIDS ART", concebido con la misión de fomentar el desarrollo de habilidades motrices y psicoemocionales en los niños. Durante su tiempo en este taller, tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar con niños con discapacidad, una experiencia que considera muy enriquecedora y que le dio la posibilidad de escribir su primer libro titulado "EL INTERIOR DE LOS NIÑOS A TRAVÉS DE LOS COLORES", dirigido a padres, educadores y terapeutas. Desde entonces, ha participado activamente en diversas ferias internacionales en México, Chile y Argentina, además de ofrecer talleres especializados en el desarrollo de habilidades psicoemocionales, así como descubrir y potenciar el talento, la creatividad y la expresión artística de los participantes.
Cecilia también es fundadora de Holistic ZENter, un centro especializado en donde diferentes expertos acuden a dar terapia y clases con el fin de lograr el equilibrio del bienestar de niños, adolescentes y adultos.
Writer and visual artist with an artistic family legacy, as her parents were also visual artists. From an early age, she has actively participated in exhibitions and art fairs in Mexico, as well as international events and anthologies held in Venice, Rome, London, India, Palermo, Budapest, Madrid, Barcelona, San Remo, and Malta. In 2022, she earned three important international recognitions for artistic merit: the Da Vinci International Prize in Florence, the Caravaggio International Prize in Milan, and the International Prize Barcelona, which was awarded during the 4th International Art Biennale in that Spanish city. In 2023, she won the International Prize Pegasus in Venice with her work Victoria's Dreams, which earned her a place in the "The Top Artists" section of the anthology Contemporary Celebrity Masters vol. III, which pays tribute to some of the best international artists.
In 2024, she has been invited to participate in one of the most important art anthologies in Europe: The Best Contemporary Masters 2024, curated by Italians Salvatore and Francesco Saverio Russo.
Cecilia is also the founder of the art and giclée printing studio "ARTE EN TU PARED," where she develops exclusive designs for the decoration of hotels, homes, and businesses.
As co-founder and CEO of RED GLOBAL CREATIVA, she leads a company dedicated to promoting the talent of artists and writers internationally through three distinct platforms: the magazine ESCAPARATE ARTS MAGAZINE, the in-person event sector EXPO INTERNACIONAL DE ARTE CREATIVO, and the virtual gallery-bookstore known as GLAMOUR ART AND BOOKS.
Cecilia Álvarez holds a degree in Public Accounting and a master’s degree in Education. For over 12 years, she held positions as a university professor and collaborator at the Institute for Educational Technology Research at the Technological University of Mexico. She also founded the art workshop "KIDS ART," conceived with the mission of fostering motor and psycho-emotional skill development in children. During her time in this workshop, she had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities, an experience she considers very enriching, and which inspired her to write her first book titled THE INNER WORLD OF CHILDREN THROUGH COLORS, aimed at parents, educators, and therapists. Since then, she has actively participated in various international fairs in Mexico, Chile, and Argentina, and has offered specialized workshops on the development of psycho-emotional skills, as well as discovering and enhancing the talent, creativity, and artistic expression of the participants.
Cecilia is also the founder of Holistic ZENter, a specialized center where various experts offer therapy and classes with the aim of achieving a balanced well-being for children, adolescents, and adults.
