Biografía Biography
Escritora y artista plástica autodidacta. Sus padres, ambos fueron artistas plásticos, es por eso que desde muy temprana edad, ha participado en exposiciones y ferias de arte en México y actualmente, en eventos y antologías internacionales en Venecia, Roma, Londres, la India, Palermo, Budapest, Madrid y Barcelona. Este año se hizo acreedora a 3 importantes reconocimientos internacionales al mérito artístico: el Da Vinci International Prize con sede en Florencia, el Caravaggio International Prize con sede en Milán y el International Prize Barcelona que tuvo como marco la 4ta Bienal Internacional de Arte en dicha ciudad española. Cecilia también participó en las ferias virtuales del libro de Chile 2021 y Argentina 2022. Es creadora y directora de la galería y librería virtual "GLAMOUR ART AND BOOKS", destinada a impulsar internacionalmente el talento de artistas y escritores. Actualmente, Cecilia Álvarez también imparte talleres para el desarrollo de habilidades psicoemocionales diseñados para revelar e impulsar el talento, la creatividad y la expresión artística.
Cecilia Álvarez estudió la carrera de Contador Público y un máster en Educación. Fue docente universitario y colaboradora del Instituto de Investigación de Tecnología Educativa de la Universidad Tecnológica de México por más de 12 años; fundadora del taller de arte "KIDS ART", creado con la intención de desarrollar habilidades motrices y psicoemocionales en los niños, en donde tuvo la fortuna de trabajar con niños con discapacidad.
Cecilia también es fundadora del estudio de arte y grabado giclée "ARTE EN TU PARED" en donde desarrolla diseños exclusivos para la decoración de hoteles, hogares y empresas.
Recientemente, publicó su primer libro titulado: "EL INTERIOR DE LOS NIÑOS A TRAVÉS DE LOS COLORES". Un libro dirigido a padres, maestros y terapeutas.
Writer and self-taught plastic artist. Her parents, both were plastic artists, that is why from a very early age, she has participated in exhibitions and art fairs in Mexico and currently, in international events and anthologies in Venice, Rome, London, India, Palermo, Budapest, Madrid and Barcelona. This year she won 3 important international awards for artistic merit: the Da Vinci International Prize based in Florence, the Caravaggio International Prize based in Milan and the International Prize Barcelona, which took place at the 4th International Art Biennale in said Spanish city. Cecilia also participated in the virtual book fairs of Chile 2021 and Argentina 2022. She is the creator and director of the gallery and virtual bookstore "GLAMOR ART AND BOOKS", designed to promote the talent of artists and writers internationally. Currently, Cecilia Álvarez also teaches workshops for the development of psycho-emotional skills designed to reveal and promote talent, creativity and artistic expression.
Cecilia Álvarez studied Public Accounting and a Master's Degree in Education. She was a university professor and collaborator of the Educational Technology Research Institute of the Technological University of Mexico for more than 12 years; She is the founder of the art workshop "KIDS ART", created with the intention of developing motor and psycho-emotional skills in children, where she was fortunate to work with children with disabilities.
Cecilia is also the founder of the art and giclée print studio "ARTE EN TU PARED" where she develops exclusive designs for decorating hotels, homes and businesses.
Recently, she published her first book titled: "THE INTERIOR OF CHILDREN THROUGH COLORS". A book aimed at parents, teachers and therapists.
